Quality Approach

The BiCel platform has begun a quality approach according to the international ISO 9001:2008 standard. The objectives are :

• To put in place an organization and an operating procedure adapted to the user needs and to deliver a service meeting their expectations.
• To obtain the ISO 9001:2008 standard certification.

The quality approach is applied to the platform core of activities :

• To produce a personalized service.
• To make the instrument available after formation.
• To realize collaborating projects.

The quality approach can apply in the following scope of activity :

• The Electron Microscopy Service (BICeL Institut Pasteur) ;
• The Cytometric Service (BICeL Institut Pasteur, BICeL-Campus Lille 2) ;
• The Photonic Microscopy Service (BICeL Institut Pasteur, BICeL-Campus Lille 2) ;
• The Atomic Force Microscopy Service (BICeL Institut Pasteur).

Why do we put in place a quality approach ?

• To adapt our services to our users needs : precise definition of the need during the first meeting thanks to a project form itemizing the service content.
• To provide an instrument control which guarantees the result quality.
• Knowledge and know-how continuity (protocol, procedure, methodology...)
• To furnish a better traceability of done works (thanks to our storage solution and our project forms)
• To favor communication with our clients.
• To improve our organization by supervising our system and the instrument use : internal audit, indicators, satisfaction survey of our clients.
• To increase our users satisfaction.
• To provide a mal-function analysis and treatment allowing the continuous improvement of all activities.

June 30, 2014 : Pre-Certification Audit by DEKRA
October 2014 : Certification Audit by DEKRA
